Congratulations Ocean County S.A.L.!!! 

The Detachment of New Jersey won three awards at The Sons of The American Legion National Convention, all generated from Ocean County: CHILDREN AND YOUTH AWARDVETERAN'S AFFAIRS REHABILITATION AWARD and BRICK SQUADRON 348 CHILDREN AND YOUTH AWARD as well as a national award from THE CHILD WELFARE FOUNDATION!

Dedicated to the service of veterans and The American Legion, the Ocean County Sons of The American Legion Executive Committee (OCSAL) serves the posts, units and squadrons  of Ocean County.

The Sons of The American Legion (S.A.L.) was created in 1932 as an organization with the American Legion.  The S.A.L. is made up of boys and men of all ages whose parents or grandparents served in the United States military and became eligible for membership in The American Legion.

The Ocean County SAL Events Message Board is interactive and is the central hub for Sons of The American Legion events. 

This is the place where you can post your events, as well as have your Events Flyers uploaded.  Send the flyer by email to the webmaster.  

*PAST COUNTY COMMANDERS and PDC HALL OF FAME    This site lists our Past County Commanders and Past Detachment Commanders, as well as their squadrons and year(s) served.
